Not All Heroes Wear Capes and Two Residence of Geauga are Proof!

Dave and Barb Partington of Chesterland saw a need and stepped into action in true superhero form. During these trying times the Partington’s took note that some families may be having a hard time getting food on the table for their families. They knew that the Geauga Hunger Task Force’s (GHTF) mission is to make sure no resident of Geauga County goes hungry. With this knowledge, coupled with the idea of helping to raise funds for GHTF, their neighbors would have more support during this pandemic if they acted. The Partington’s took it upon themselves to not run one but two ads asking for donations to GHTF. One is running in the Geauga Times Courier and another in The Maple Leaf.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Dave and Barb for their thoughtfulness and advocacy for the Geauga Hunger Task Force. These are difficult months but with good neighbors in our community like the Partington’s we feel confident that no resident of Geauga will go hungry. From all the board members of Geauga Hunger Task Force, thank you for such a selfless act.
