Lake Geauga Fund of Cleveland Foundation Authorizes Grant to Geauga Hunger Task Force

May 14, 2020

The Lake-Geauga Fund of the Cleveland Foundation is committed to addressing high priority community needs. To that end, the fund has authorized a grant of $20,000 to Geauga Hunger Task Force. This grant will go towards food and shipping costs. The Geauga Hunger Task Force is so appreciative of the fund’s generosity to our community and our commitment to ending hunger. On behalf of all of us here at Geauga Hunger Task Force, we say “Thank You” for helping so many in this time of need.

About the Cleveland Foundation
The Cleveland Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of all residents of Greater Cleveland, now and for generations to come, by working together with their donors to build community endowment, address needs through grantmaking, and provide leadership on key community issues.

About the Geauga Hunger Task Force
The Geauga Hunger Task Force is a volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to ensure that no resident of Geauga County goes hungry. We provide support to six independent food pantries throughout our county. We also help to provide meals for young adults at NextStep and home-delivered meals to disabled residents under 60.
