Geauga County 4-H Awards Jayme O'Neill the Gold Medal Community Service Award

This past December Jayme O'Neill was awarded the Gold Medal for Community Services Award by Geauga County 4-H. Jayme has been in the Greener Fields 4-H group for over 9 years. In addition to being a very active member in our community she is also the club's secretary. You can often find Jayme doing things such as taking her rabbit to local nursing homes to visit as well as participating and collecting food for our community through food drives. For the last 3 years Jayme has been the leader for the 4-H Greener Fields food drive and she has taken the drive to new levels! Jayme took the initiative and reached out to businesses asking for their involvement as well as planning and participating in the drive herself.

Our community is very fortunate to have someone like Jayme who is using her leadership skills to help those in our county. Thank you Jayme for all you do and congratulations on winning the Gold Medal for Community Service Award.
